Wow. What a fitting image for me to run across as I’m writing a letter to my wife about how we’re splitting up our stuff. It has been mostly dignified, at least now that the relationship is over it has at least.

Poor Felipe.

Alone on the streets of Los Angeles County.

I picked up an Olympus E-P2 the other day. It’s pretty great so far, small size, big sensor, the ability to mount Leica thread mount glass. It is a good time.

I shot this the other day, straight out of the camera with some in-camera filter nonsense or another on it. Great fun. Can’t wait to shoot more.

Sometimes it happens that you go up to an amazing place like Griffith Park and while you’re trying to get down to business and take a photo, something entirely in need of photographing happens right behind you. Thanks to Cecil I didn’t miss it. A reminder when you’re out there looking around and maybe taking a photo, don’t forget to turn around and look behind you.
